Helping you find joy and impact through your work

Shifting success has been the key to my happiness. I know it can work for you too.

Feeling like a failure was not how I imagined celebrating my 51st birthday. My freelance business was floundering. I didn’t feel like I belonged in the creative industry. Or marketing. Or advertising.  And for someone with 25+ years in those fields it was a very strange feeling indeed.

I wanted to feel like my career meant something.

I felt called to make a positive difference on a personal level, on a community level.

Were my talents, skills and expertise of any value to anyone?

Where was that joy I used to feel in my work?

What even was “my work” supposed to be?

I wanted to know my purpose.

I wanted meaningful momentum.

My Meaningful Momentum

My journey started with so much frustration and even a big dose of existential angst. I’m very grateful for wonderful guides along the way who supported my search and showed me how to use helpful tools.

Books, assessments, journaling, coaching, counseling, and lots of long walks were all important aspects to my growth, and still are!

My meaningful momentum really kicked in when I got clear on my strengths and talents, my values and my purpose in this stage of my life. These core aspects are also key to how my clients find their own meaningful momentum.

Natural Talents

Once I had a better understanding of myself and my purpose, I explored several options for how to best serve others while expressing my true nature.

I just kept coming back to the joy I felt when working closely with my marketing clients as they grew in confidence, the way friends and family sought me out when they wanted to feel seen and heard. Everything kept pointing to coaching!

Why is coaching such a good fit for me? The same aspects you’ll enjoy as a client:

– I am and have always been very curious. I want to know all about you and what gets you going.

– Listening, truly hearing what someone is saying, comes naturally to me. You will be heard.

– I identify important connections and context which often shift perspectives and offer new options.

– I love learning & since coaching is all about continuous self-improvement, any tools, exercises, books, assessments which might be suggested for you, I’ve already completed.
